About Instant Read
Instant Read is a free visibility thermometer built by Krisada, an SEO Specialist of twenty years, as the front end of a larger measurement system. It exists because the first question anyone has about their website is not answerable by any of the tools that claim to answer it.
The problem with free SEO audits
There are, conservatively, ten million of them. Almost all share the same shape: a long list of findings, a number nobody can interpret, and a form. The list is long because length feels like value. The number is unexplained because an explained number is easier to argue with. The form is the actual product.
The result is that a genuinely useful question, how visible is this site, gets answered with a hundred-item checklist that a normal person cannot rank, cannot act on, and does not believe.
So: a thermometer
A thermometer is the most useful instrument in medicine and one of the least sophisticated. It does not diagnose. It gives you one number, fast, that tells you whether to look closer. Nobody resents a thermometer for not being an MRI.
That is the design constraint here, and it is a constraint rather than a limitation. One number. Four readings underneath it, because one number cannot tell you where to look. The three heaviest things helping and the three heaviest things hurting, because that is as much as anyone acts on in one sitting. And a hard line after that, which is where the diagnostic starts.
Who built it
Krisada has been doing SEO for over twenty years and runs a family of measurement and publishing properties, most of them built on the same flat-file stack this site uses. Instant Read is the front door to that system rather than a standalone product, which is why it can afford to be free and why it has no single service to sell you at the end.
The engine shares its measurement layer with two sibling checkers: AISymantix and QuickRankAI. They score differently on purpose and measure identically on purpose. Three tools returning three different word counts for the same page is how numbers stop meaning anything, and it took a real incident in September 2026 to learn that properly.
What it will not become
- It will not require an account. Not for a limited number of reads, not for a trial, not for a report. The reading is the product and gating it would make the site one of the ten million.
- It will not inflate findings. A page that is doing well gets told it is doing well, including when that costs a sale.
- It will not publish a signal count it does not run. The registry on what we read is generated from the engine, so the page cannot describe a methodology that has been quietly retired.
- It will not sell your URL. See what is stored and for how long.
Where it is going
The published readings dataset is the part worth watching. Every reading is dated and reproducible, which means that over time it becomes something more interesting than a marketing page: a public record of how a specific set of websites got more or less visible, measured the same way each time, by an instrument whose rules are published.
That is a slow asset. It is also the kind that cannot be faked later, which is the only reason to start one early.
