Website Visibility Tool
Instantly read your website's visibility temperature.
Search engines and AI answer engines are reading your site right now. This instantly tells you what they actually see, what is working in your favour, and what is quietly holding you back.
Visibility Temperature
Hotter is better. A cold number means a search engine or an AI engine is missing things it needs before it can understand the page.

A real reading: Hacker News at 47 degrees
This is the whole result, exactly as it arrives a few seconds after you press the button. Hacker News is one of the most linked-to pages on the internet and it still reads 47 degrees, which is the useful part. Famous and readable are two different things, and only one of them shows up here.

Hotter is better. A cold number means a search engine or an AI engine is missing things it needs before it can understand the page.
Most of the ordinary things are present and several of the ones that separate a page from its competition are not. This is the most common reading on the internet and the one where a small number of specific changes moves the number the most.
Can a search engine reach this page, index it, and work out what it is a result for?
Can an AI answer engine retrieve this page and lift a usable answer out of it?
Can a machine get this page cleanly, quickly, and on the first try?
Does this page say what it is, who published it, and why it should be believed?
What is working
- AI crawlers are allowed AI Discoverability robots.txt does not block the major AI crawlers.
- Open to indexing Search Visibility Nothing on the page or in its headers asks search engines to stay away.
- Content is in the HTML, not built by script AI Discoverability 739 words of text came back in the raw HTML response.
What is holding it back
- Publisher declared as an entity Content and Entity Strength No Organization or Person node was found in the structured data.
- Answers before it explains AI Discoverability No substantial paragraph was found in the 1500 characters after the H1.
- Title tag present and sized Search Visibility The title is 11 characters: "Hacker News".
The four readings
One number, and the four things it is made of
A single temperature is useful for deciding whether to care. It is useless for deciding what to do. So every reading breaks into four, each scored on its own and blended by weight, which is why a site can run hot for search and cold for AI at the same time.

The scale
What the number means
Five bands, and the wording is the point. A thermometer tells you something is happening. It does not tell you why, and this one does not pretend to.
-
85–100°Hot
Everything observable is in place.
Every signal a thermometer can see from outside is present. From here the work stops being technical and starts being editorial: what the page actually says, who else cites it, and whether it deserves the position it is asking for.
-
65–84°Warm
Working. Not yet hard to beat.
The page states what it is, who published it and what it answers, and a retrieval system can use it without guessing much. What is left is usually a handful of deliberate signals rather than anything broken.
-
45–64°Warming Up
The basics are in, the signals are thin.
Most of the ordinary things are present and several of the ones that separate a page from its competition are not. This is the most common reading on the internet and the one where a small number of specific changes moves the number the most.
-
20–44°Cold
Readable, but nothing is helping it.
The page exists and can be fetched, and that is roughly where the help stops. Machines are reconstructing what it means from prose alone, which is where misrepresentation starts and where competitors with the same content but better signals go past you.
-
0–19°Freezing
Almost nothing is getting through.
At this temperature a search engine or an answer engine is working with raw text and little else. Something structural is usually wrong: the page is blocked, it is built entirely in the browser, or it never returned to the crawler at all.
What happens next
Thermometer, doctor, treatment, chart
The reading is the first step of six, and the first three are free. Nothing here needs an account, and nothing here is a trial that stops working.
- Enter a URL
Any public page. Yours, a competitor's, a client's.
- Take the temperature
The page is fetched for real and read on 37 observable signals.
- See the reading
One number, four sub-readings, the heaviest three things working and the heaviest three not.
- Diagnose
The Visibility Diagnostic names every signal, the pages affected, and what to do in what order.
- Fix
Do it yourself from the report, or hand it to whoever builds the site.
- Measure again
Retake the reading and watch the number move. That is the whole point of a number.
What costs what
Three levels, and the first one is the real product
Instant Read
- One URL, one temperature, four readings
- The heaviest three strengths and three problems
- A share link and an embeddable badge
- No signup, no card, no trial clock
Why is it that number?
- Every one of the 37 signals, passed and failed
- The specific remedy for each failure
- Prioritised by what moves the temperature most
- Scoped and quoted before anything is charged
Have it fixed
- Structural problems go to a rebuild
- AI visibility goes to the tools built for it
- Ongoing measurement becomes a chart, not a memory
- Routed to whoever actually does that work
Published readings
Real sites, real temperatures
A growing dataset of readings taken on real, public websites, each one dated and reproducible. Take the same reading yourself and you should get the same number.
Why a temperature and not a score out of ten
Because a temperature already means something to everyone, and a score does not. Nobody needs the scale explained. 41 degrees is cold, 87 is hot, and the interesting question is immediately the right one: why is it that number, and what would move it.
The other reason is honesty about what this tool can see. A thermometer is a genuinely limited instrument. It takes one measurement, from outside, in a few seconds, and it tells you that something is happening. It does not tell you what. A tool that returned a 62 out of 100 alongside the phrase "SEO Score" would be implying a completeness it does not have, and the internet has enough of those.
So: a thermometer for the reading, a diagnostic for the diagnosis, and a clear line between them that is written into the code rather than into the marketing copy.
